Traditions Parents

Parent involvement is vital at Traditions Education. Whether they volunteer to help with a class party, organize a field trip, teach a Life Skills Training Course class, or help to schedule a Career Navigation appointment, our parents play an important role in the enhancement of our student program. Our students love to see their parents supporting their goals and hard work.

Committees

Field Trip Committee

Members serving on the Field Trip Committee work together to plan a minimum of four field trips each year for our students and their families. These can include field trips related to the subjects currently being studied, in order to enhance understanding and support real-world application.

Service Committee

Members serving on the Play Yard Committee regularly assess the status of the play yard equipment and make plans for repair, replacement, or installation of new equipment. Members also devise means and methods for acquiring equipment while working within a budget.

Fundraiser Committee

Members serving on the After-school Activities Committee create and organize opportunities for students to engage in fun and uplifting activities after school. These include activities such as Chess Club, Math Master sessions, dance classes, etc.

Career Navigation Committee

Members serving on the Career Navigation Committee are responsible for finding and planning a minimum of eight opportunities for our High School students to visit professionals in various markets and industries.

Volunteers

Volunteering

Every family is required to have at least one adult serve on a committee or volunteer for a combined total of 20 hours during each school year. Volunteer hours can be acquired through a variety of events and opportunities to help on campus including class parties, story reading time, teaching a Life Training Skills Course, helping with Field Day, etc.

There are a limited number of spots on each committee. Parents who sign up after all committees are full will be designated to Volunteer status. All committees and volunteers will work in coordination with school administration for support.
